  • Aggressive Marketing of Rental Properties.  With almost 90% of home-searchers shopping on the internet before contacting a real estate professional, it is imperative to get your rental listing on the internet.  Our listings can be found on websites such as Hotpads, CraigsList, Postlets, Zillow, backpage, Enormo, FrontDoor, Local.com, Lycos, Oodle, Overstock, Vast, Trulia, Realtor.com, and many more.  We also do print media advertising.
  • Initiation of Leases and Tenant Placement.  We only use leases approved by the Supreme Court of Florida. We strictly abide by all Fair Housing Laws as well as state and local laws.

  • Rigorous Credit, Income, and Background Screening.  The only thing worse than a vacant property is one with a non-performing tenant.  We do our utmost to find you tenants who will pay rent on time, take good care of your property, and abide by the terms of the lease.  We verify income, check past tenancies, and pull a comprehensive credit report, including a court record search.  All adults living in the property would be subject to this screening. 

  • Regular Property Inspections.  We inspect our management properties on a regular basis to determine any needed maintenance and to make sure that there are no tenant-related damages. We strive to keep your property in top condition, giving you peace of mind and your tenant a pleasant rental experience.
  • Internet-based Accounting and Financial Reporting.  Meteor Management uses an on-line management system designed for immediate access.  If you have a question or need a report, the information can be readily obtained at any time.
  • Maintenance and Repairs.  We have long-standing relationships with vendors, craftspeople, and technicians that respond quickly and efficiently to maintenance and repair requests.  All are independent contractors and are billed to you without any brokerage mark-up.
  • Rent Collection.  Vacancies and non-performing tenants are expensive for investors.  We are tough but fair in our collections.  We set the expectations early on that tenants need to pay rent on time.  As rents are paid, you are quickly disbursed a check.

  • Eviction Processing.  We follow proven and standard practices when it comes to collecting rent but in the event a tenant can no longer meet their rental obligation we will handle the eviction process swiftly. We are knowledgeable in state and local property management laws. If rents are not paid on time, we initiate the legal steps necessary to collect rents and/or evict tenants. We handle the entire eviction process so you won’t have to.
